iKanban 4.0 on Mac: Kanban workspace with sidebar, board and inspector

Your Reminders, as a board.

A preview of iKanban 4.0. Your Apple Reminders become a board, with a project compass to clarify the outcome, space for ideas and a clear next action. No separate iKanban account.

iKanban 4.0 is being prepared for release. This page previews the new workspace; the App Store may still offer 3.17. The native Mac app shown here is part of the upcoming release.

System requirements for 4.0: macOS 27, iOS 27 or iPadOS 27; watchOS 27 and tvOS 27 for the companion apps. The local assistant requires a supported device with Apple Intelligence enabled.

Keep the why, your principles and the desired outcome in the Project Compass. Gather ideas in the mindmap, organize the same ideas in an outline, then turn one into a concrete next action on a project list. Switch between these views whenever you need to; the compass keeps the project in view.

It's just Reminders

Every list and every card is a real Apple Reminder. Siri, shared lists and iCloud sync keep working — iKanban adds the board, nothing to import.

A real board

Todo, Progress, Done. Cards with colors, contexts and flags; drag and drop, several cards per row, a context filter and multi-select.

Getting Things Done

Inbox clarifying card by card, Today, Waiting For, Someday/Maybe, contexts and a guided Weekly Review that remembers each list.

A compass for your project

Purpose, principles, vision and outcome stay close while you gather ideas, organize them and choose a next action. A compact planning check helps you decide where to continue.

Think on a canvas

Pinboards, mindmaps and sketches per project — and on iPad, journals you write in with Apple Pencil, then turn a selection into a card.

An assistant on your device

Turn a note or a handwritten page into cards, or ask about your project. Runs on Apple Intelligence on your device; nothing leaves it.

Everywhere you work

A native Mac app with inspector and windows, iPad with a split inspector and Pencil, iPhone, Apple Watch and Apple TV — plus widgets and Shortcuts.

After the 4.0 upload, work begins on 4.1: attachments, Pro and the workflow with external agents. See the first working MCP prototype and what is still taking shape.
